Eurobond Goes to Great Lengths

Spanning capabilities, rockspan, rockspan extra, tests

Tests have shown that 13 metre lengths of Eurobond Rockspan Extra can realistically be handled and installed on site, meaning potential savings for major projects.

In response to demands from the market, a 13000mm x 1150 mm x 125 mm Rockspan Extra panel was monitored throughout the production, transportation and installation stages. The successful test has resulted in Eurobond extending the Rockspan Extra range, to now include a new 13 metre option.

Longer length composite panels offer cost savings due to faster construction and fewer fixings and joints. Using the Eurobond Rockspan Extra system can also eliminate, or drastically reduce, the requirement for secondary steelwork, further decreasing build costs and increasing floor areas. In addition, longer composite panels offer improved air tightness and better visual appearance.

Manufactured with a 135kg/m3high density Rockwool non-combustible core, Rockspan Extra not only offers improved spanning capabilities but also enhanced fire resistance.

It is available with Micro-Rib or Architecturally Flat external profiles.
