The external wall panel Rockspan and internal wall and ceiling cladding Firemaster have been used extensively in the construction of the 15,000m², £30m new factory to provide a fire resistant building envelope.

Firemaster’s qualities make it the perfect specification for internal cladding. With a proven history in the food storage and processing sector, the total internal wall and ceiling panel solution enables compartmentalisation and the construction of protected zones within a building. In addition, it can be specified with food safe coatings that guarantee adherence to the strict hygiene standards required in the food industry.

Rockspan is the ultimate reliable and strong composite panel, offering structural integrity, spans in excess of six metres and a quick and simple installation process. This ideal package is improved further by the panel’s unrivalled environmental performance. Its non-combustible stone wool core is from a sustainable source and fully recyclable, and combining it with 100 per cent recyclable steel facings produces a product that guarantees a closed loop lifecycle.

Both Rockspan and Firemaster offer first class fire performance - each system is certified to Ext-A of the LPCB’s LPS1181 standard. The ranges meet this highest possible level by satisfying the requirements for “reaction to fire” and “fire resistance”. In contrast, composite panels with a polyisocyanurate (PIR) core cannot provide the same level of fire performance.

Chris Cartwright, Project Manager, Hemsec Installations, installers of the cladding, said: “We’ve worked with Eurobond for several years and its level of service is excellent. It always supplies the product quickly and efficiently, and the simple installation procedure meant that we were able to install 10,000m² of cladding in just two months.”
