Confidex® Guarantee

The Confidex® Guarantee has evolved from the 40 years experience Corus has in pre-finished steel development and manufacture.  Currently only available with Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® and Colorcoat Prisma,® the Confidex® Guarantee is clear and simple to register and can easily be transferred if building ownership changes. This is not always the case with other manufacturers’ guarantees.   Whilst providing peace of mind for the building owner, Confidex® also offers other parts of the market an opportunity to reduce their risk.

Confidex Sustain®

Corus have taken action to minimise the environmental impact of their processes and pre-finished steel products beyond mere compliance. Corus Confidex Sustain®, built on the success of the Confidex Guarantee®, and a commitment to sustainability going back many years, offers the first CarbonNeutral building envelope in the world. It addresses a growing interest in sustainability and climate change issues, and the increasing demand for sustainable construction products.  Confidex Sustain® provides a combined guarantee which covers the performance of the Colorcoat® pre-finished steel product and makes the pre-finished steel building envelope CarbonNeutral. It measures and offsets the unavoidable CO2 emissions of the pre-finished steel cladding system from cradle to cradle. About much more than just offsetting, Confidex Sustain® aims to encourage the specification of the most sustainable pre-finished steel products and cladding systems.  Available when Colorcoat HPS200® Ultra and/or Colorcoat Prisma® are specified as part of a Corus Colorcoat® assessed cladding system.
